Standard Building Supplies Ltd. has sales yards in Burnaby and North Vancouver, BC. Standard supplies lumber, engineered wood, and other building materials to contractors throughout BC and around the world.

Standard Building Products needed a way to schedule staff holidays and schedules. They were using an out-of-the-box system that almost worked, but not quite.

We have a ready-to-go company intranet template that provides a staff contact list, a shared calendar, a news area, a knowledge base and a documents library. Any custom programming can be added to this pre-built template. In this case, we added a form where staff could request time off, and managers can approve and deny the requests. The supervisors can then alter the schedule based on the requested time off.
